[back] Halloween 2007, Wireless Man sports a hemispherical mixing bowl lined with a deflated Winnie-the-Pooh kick ball and held in place by rolls of duct tape. Atop the mixing bowl helmet are genuine magnetically mounted 7 dBi high-gain antennas for use with the front piece, which is a Linksys WRT54G v1.0 Wireless Router running DD-WRT Linux. The router is tastefully draped around his neck with a short length of Cat5 network cable. A space blanket provides the stylish cape. If you plug in a power adapter to the router, the entire ensemble is actually a fully operational WiFi Wireless Access Point. Photos taken by Lois. Enjoy!
